1. What is Bible Shepherd?

Bible Shepherd is a modern Bible reading and study app that helps you explore Scripture, understand key verses with clear explanations, listen to audio Bible passages, and learn through guided quizzes. No login or account is required.

2. Is the app free to use?

Yes. All major features—including Bible reading, verse explanations, audio playback, and quizzes—are free. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases in version 1.

3. Do I need an account?

No account or personal information is required. Your reading progress and settings are saved locally on your device.

4. Does the app collect personal data?

5. Why does the app need internet access?

The app uses the network only to download Bible text, explanations, images, and audio. No personal data is sent during these requests.

6. Why was the Home screen blank on first launch?

iOS may show a network permission prompt the first time you open the app. If the prompt appears while the app is loading content, some items may not appear until the app becomes active again. This issue resolves automatically after granting permission.

7. Can I use the app offline?

Yes. Bible text, images, and explanations may be cached locally so you can continue reading offline. Audio playback requires network access.

8. Which Bible translation is used?

The app uses the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain.

9. Who creates the verse explanations and quizzes?

Verse explanations and quiz questions are generated using AI and curated to help provide clear, accessible insight into Scripture and related themes.
